Emma has spent over 16 years at the highest level in the industry working with celebrities, leading brands and the top stylists in the country. Emma has the skill and knowledge base to create a range of looks from cutting edge to classic.
Beginning her career at the classic Mantini's salon, Emma was trained to the exacting standards demanded by Paulo Mantini and his team. After five years, Emma moved to Barrie Stephen Hair, where she quickly climbed the ladder to Salon Manager. Chosen for both the Tigi’s Inspirational Youth and Schwarzkopf's Young Artistic Team, Emma travelled the country preparing for arena shows and participating in photoshoots.
Working with titles including Hello Magazine, Women’s Own, Hairdresser's Journal, Inter Coiffure, 69 Degrees Magazine, Aspirational Magazine and Box Magazine, Emma has styled numerous celebrities and also achieved her Colour Masters with Schwarzkopf in 2011.
Emma loves having the chance to run her business and share her own personal style agenda with her clients.
A true creative force, Tom has been sculpting hair since he was 16, quickly scaling the dizzy heights of styling fashion shows and collections.
Working for Barrie Stephen Hair, Tom’s artistic eye and flair for design led him to be chosen by the salon’s Artistic Director to help with De Montfort University’s fashion shows for their graduating design students, collections for Schwarzkopf and photoshoots for 69 Degrees Magazine.
Tom has a passion for colouring and along with his love of music, fashion and anything mod, this has enabled him to create edgy and bespoke styles which have attracted a wide variety of clients.
If you want to see a stylist that applies 110% no matter what. If it’s a full restyle or just a trim, then Dennis is your guy. With a big passion for hairdressing, he has developed his skills in to a brilliant graduate stylists, with a keen eye for fashion and design, and loves precision cutting.
As a strongly educated, disciplined, motivated and creative hairdresser, Dennis is very professional and very enthusiastic. He has successfully graduated as a level 2 hairdresser with flying colours and is now training to complete his NVQ level 3 in hairdressing.
He is also currently training at the London academy of barbering to become a master barber NVQ level 3. He takes training very seriously, his saying is "If you want to be the best, you have to train with the best". He enjoys nothing more than attending different Hairdressing seminars or colour courses across the UK.
He has traveled to London numerous times to take part in different session salon classes, colour courses, and worked styling hair on the set of the famous west end production 'Hairspray the musical'. He has worked at Leicester based fashion shows session styling and also participates in frequent Kevin Murphy hair styling & colour master classes with the UKs top Kevin Murphy colour expert Paz Bamrolia.
He also gets to work with one of Leicesters finest hair stylists on a daily basis, his fiancé Emma Brown herself.
The team describes him as bubbly and creative.
Emma is a fully qualified Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Independent Prescriber.
A qualified RGN with 17 years of NHS nursing experience her background is in Acute care and General practice as a Nurse Practitioner. She became interested in Aesthetics 6 years ago as it offered an opportunity to explore a different aspect of nursing as well as building upon the skills that I already had.
She trained initially with a Harley Street based company in Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler treatments and have since built upon these skills and undertaken further training in advanced procedures in these areas as well as Dermal rollering, Mesotherapy and Chemical skin peels. She provides high quality advanced anti ageing and skin rejuvenation treatments. Clients can be assured that she takes every opportunity to update her skills and by training on new products and procedures in order to provide up to date, safe and effective treatments.
Resident pooch Pierre at Emma Brown Hair can often be seen in the window or snoozing in one of the sections, a great addition to the team perfect for cuddles, sniffing and is always prepared to help the clients finish their biscuits.
Resident pooch number two Polly is always happy to see clients, with her waggley tail and her big brown eyes, she is sure to put a smile on your face, If you ask one of our team, they might bring her out to say hello.
Resident pooch number three Dougie can be found anywhere that is warm, and he is normally fast asleep, he loves nothing more than his ears being tickled, If your lucky enough to meet him he will defiantly want a cuddle.
